How To Get There
Arrive at Andros Island Airport at Fresh Creek, Andros Island, Bahamas. It’s a one-hour flight from Miami and Fort Lauderdale and 15 minutes from Nassau, Bahamas by commercial or charter airline. This is followed by a 20-minute drive to Kamalame Cay.
There are scheduled charter flights from Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE) direct to Andros Town Airport (ASD) on Andros Island, Bahamas on a 9-seat Cessna Caravan aircraft with Watermakers Air. Call for reservations and tell them we sent you: 954-771-0330. The charge for this flight is approximately $600 per person round trip.
In addition there is twice-daily commercial air service from Nassau (NAS) to Andros Town Airport (ASD) on Le Air. It’s an inexpensive option with flights leaving Nassau at 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Call for reservations: 242-377-2356 or 242-377-3375. The cost is $100 per person round trip.
The most fun way to reach Indigo Palm is by seaplane service with Tropic Ocean Airways from Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) or Miami Seaplane Base (MPB). Beautiful planes and great pilots. You’ll land in the water right at Kamalame Cay – highly recommended!

A passport that is valid for six months after the last day of your trip is required. If your passport expires before then, please renew it right away. No visa is required for U.S. citizens. Residents of other countries should contact their Bahamas consulate. If you don’t have one yet, passports can take a while to get. If needed, we can help to expedite your application.
